It’s the mid year check in and 2018 is on steroids! I mean it’s July already. I was just complaining about the cold weather in March and now the Summer is slowly slipping away. However there are still tons of things left to do in 2018 that will please you and your crew.
I don’t know about you, but I love when I plan a big outing with my friends and family and it goes smoothly without a hitch. That’s pure victory! My “event planning” hands are getting itchy and I want to do something before the year is out with my girls on a large scale. You know chauffeur driven transportation similar to what iChauffeur Melbourne offer, drinks, and a fun event to attend. I started looking at what was coming up around the Chicagoland area and I was very impressed. Chicago knows how to party! I wanted to share some of my faves with you because it may inspire you to get out and enjoy the city.
Upcoming Chicago events:
1. On the Run II:
Yes, Beyonce and Jay-Z are back and better than ever with their new album and tour! I absolutely love all of the songs and the edgy Beyonce is just fascinating to watch. There are two tour dates for Chicago so there are more than enough tickets available. This event would be amazing to go see as a group! Gathering all your “Beyhive” member’s from your family and friend circle and get in FORMATION!
2. Aubrey and The Three Migos:
Oh my goodness I love music and I am a fan of a good show, but I don’t go to a lot of concerts because I’m going to be honest tickets are expensive!! But for Drake I’ll pay. You do know he dedicated a song to me right? Yes hunny, just listening to his latest hit “in my feelings”…”Kiki do you love me….” He’s talking about me. This concert will also feature Migos and I can’t wait to see their antics. Their catchy songs and dope beats make me a fan of the trio and they’re one of the hottest groups in all of music today. It seems as though some of hip-hop’s very best producers, as well as people just making beats on tellingbeatzz.com, are trying to tap into the sound that Migos have perfected, and I’m ecstatic to be seeing them live. This is a perfect coed trip that you could even invite your coworkers and younger family members to. Who doesn’t love Drake?
3. Great America Fright Fest:
Six Flags Great America is perfect for the Summer and Fall. As a Roller Coaster buff I am down to ride rather it’s hot or cold outside. A few years ago for my husband’s birthday I planned a huge trip to Great America’s Fright fest. We had a blast! We took a party bus out there and didn’t have to worry about parking or traffic! Now let me give you a few suggestions; bundle up when the sun goes down it gets chilly and spooky! Also the Flash pass is a great investment to cut your wait time in half because the Fright fest is huge and you want to conquer it all.
4. Lollapalooza:
Artists and music fans from all over the globe will be in one place at the same time. Lollapalooza is for the music lover. The whole weekend of Lolla Chicago will be on fire. There will be parties and events all around town celebrating this music festival including the actual event. Grab your buddies and head down to the Chicago version of Coachella!
Live a little!
Life is too short to say “next year”. Make sure you add a space for fun money in your budget so you can have a little cash stashed away for events like concerts and festivals because things come up and you want to be able to have fun responsibly without breaking the bank.
As you may know navigating around Chicago can be hard and expensive when attending major events with a group or even solo. Taking cabs, Uber’s, or even paying for parking adds up. Plus drinking and driving is a huge NO so I recommend getting private transportation when venturing to these events. The upside to dealing with a group is you can split the cost up so it’s affordable for everyone and no one has to worry about parking, tickets for missed meters or getting a million Uber’s for everyone. You can rest assured that you will make it safely and on time as a whole. Here is a Chitown Area Bus Company that can fit your whole crew at a decent price. When dealing with a transportation company you want one with options and great customer service Party Bus Chicago has that and more.
This was a sponsored conversation, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Do you have any big events coming up for you and your crew? I would love to hear about them. Have fun the rest of the Summer and the upcoming Fall and Winter months!
All of these events look like fun! I didn’t realize who the 3 amigos were until I read more! Are you going to any of these events? I wish I could have made my way to Chicago this summer…absolutely LOVE summer time Chi!
Chicago has some awesome
