A couple of weeks ago me and the kids attended The Chicago Baby Show and it was so amazing! It was held at the legendary Navy Pier and had 100s of baby vendors, classes, demos, and so many other things offered. As you guys know I really don’t have anymore “babies” Chance is 3 and Dereon is 11. However I do have a infant nephew and Godchild and lots of other babies in my friend circle. Plus the Baby Show didn’t just cover small babies it covered children in general. So it really didn’t matter how old your kid was because they had something for everybody. There were a few brands that truly impressed me and some that just had me obsessed!
We hung out in the Blogger Lounge with some of the staff of Mom Trends and enjoyed chatting with other bloggers and talking about some of our favorite items from the floor. Last year when we attended I had my husband along with us, but this year due to his work schedule he couldn’t make it. So our oldest son Dereon stepped in and was my Co-host for the segment. He was with me as we explored the booths and suites and had his own favorites as well. Check out our video showcasing the products!
1. Babyganics
Babyganics is such adorable name. They won me over with their Hand Sanitizing wipes. As a mom on the go we eat lots of fast food and snacks in the car which can leave a sticky mess. These wipes work from baby to mommy and I am going to buy a boatload worth of them. According to the people at babyganics the wipes has: No triclosan, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, artificial fragrances or dyes. It has Plant-based ingredients is alcohol-free whiling having a moisturizing formula that kills 99.9% of germs!
2. Safari LTD
We strolled around vendor tables and saw some amazing things but when we stopped at Safari LTD Chance flipped out. He saw the Blue Tang fish like “Nemo and Dory” and screamed until I paid the young man for the toxic free toy. Once I gave him the cute fish he sat back in his stroller and peace was restored. I love that the toy is clear of any toxic materials. The Safari LTD says their toys are: Floating and water play safe because they are hollow. The toys are phthalate and lead free and dishwasher safe.
3.Mabel’s Labels
I am a sucker for anything personalized I think it just makes everything more fun! SO you know I was excited to see Mabel’s Labels table because they had the cutest little labels for me. I could use them on almost anything. They have a whole line for kids. You can label their uniforms, bookbags, lunch boxes and whatever else you want. I also think it’s a cute way to label your iPhone charger and books too. Their prices are reasonable and they have the best patterns. From the girly diva to the basketball star Mabel’s Labels has you covered.
Overall the Baby Show was lots of fun and it really helped me get my work out in because I was everywhere. Personally this shows are great for those that like to stay up to date with child security, healthy kid friendly snacks and products, and parent focused classes. I can’t wait until next year to see what they have in store for Chicago attendees we will be there with bells on.
Even though I don’t have anymore babies it looks like this show is super fun! I was watching your stories and couldn’t wait to see what your faves were. Thanks so much for sharing your list!
Looks like fun!!! I LOVE Mabel’s Labels and I use them yearly for the kids school items!! Love the Video Clip too!!
