A couple of weeks ago I stopped at one of my local McDonald’s to attend a BMOA Coffee Vibes Pop-up. I’m not a huge coffee drinker, but when I need to refuel I like to stop at McDonald’s because the price point is right and they keep the pots boiling all day. Tasty, creamy, yet strong is how I like my hot cup of joe and McDonald’s always seems to get it right. But now with their new 100% Colombian Medium Roast Coffee I feel a little more exotic when I sip. My husband came out with me to see what the new coffee had to offer and he wasn’t disappointed. He’s the true blue coffee drinker of the house and he had a smile on his face after his first taste so I knew then this was a quality blend.
The BMOA (Black McDonald’s Operators Association of Chicago and Northwest Indiana) has been throwing coffee vibes pop ups around town to let McDonald’s customers at various locations try their new coffee while having live entertainment and radio shows broadcasting at the venues. Free samples and giveaways puts the icing on the cake.
Chance hung out with us while we listened and watch Maze Jackson‘s live radio broadcast. We ate breakfast and sipped on the free coffee samples while Chance demolished his orange juice. Even though I’m not a morning person that coffee woke me up and gave me a little pep in my step to get through the day productively.
Now that the Back To School hustle is upon us I’m reaching for McDonald’s New Colombian medium roast coffee more than ever to help me with this Pre-schooler and Middle-schooler of mine. I can grab a cup in the morning with a quick breakfast for the kids or right before Baseball practice and karate lessons either way I know Mickey D’s has me covered.
