Fall Plus Size #OOTD Featuring Riders by Lee

Fall is my favorite season I love the weather, the Family activities, and of course the Fashion! I mean who doesn’t love jeans, a cute tee and a dope bomber jacket or vest? Gosh let’s not forget the ankle booties. Okay I am literally smiling as I type. I had to get some more pieces for my Fall 2017 Wardrobe because I have gained a few extra pounds that I need to work off and I don’t like my clothes looking tight, plus there are a few new trends I want to try out.

Where you get that from?

When I post on Social Media people always ask me where I get my clothes and shoes from. Truth be told I am a very simple person when it comes to my style. As a plus sized woman my goal is to emphasize my good features and hide my imperfections. I am a firm believer that everything isn’t for everybody, but I do think you can make a trend work for you and your body type if you put your own touch on it. Peplum, Skinny jeans, and jumpers are my favorites.  The colors I tend to gravitate to are bright colors that compliment my dark complexion and a few choice dark colors to help the slimming effect. LOL.

The good people of Riders by Lee sent me some piece to add in my Fall Fashion Line up and when I tell you I am in Love…Believe Me!

They sent me their Modern Boyfriend jeans in the color Mid (16) and The Jacket in Green (XL).

I wore this out to a Blogger event that Radisson Aqua Blu held last weekend. I wanted to be cute, yet comfy for the casual dinner they hosted. I felt cute and I loved that the jacket offered the perfect amount of coverage it wasn’t too heavy or too light. The jeans were soft and fit snug how I like my jeans. It was just the right amount of stretch. As a bonus the jeans had a bit of distress to them which I am a huge fan of.

The “Utility” jacket shirt is  the perfect piece of clothing to add to you collection because you can dress it up or down. I can see this as a Date Night piece or a weekend out with the kids as well. It’s all about what you pair with it. Since I was going for causal and comfy I just did a basic white tee and some statement sneakers, both were from Rainbow.

Get fall ready

Riders by Lee can be purchased at Walmart, Amazon, and Kmart! This line is affordable and easy to get your hands on. If you are like me and don’t like to shop for clothes online due to fitting issues this is an great alternative because we all know where a Walmart is. This line is also Plus Size friendly I was able to fit an XL in the shirt and a 16 in the jeans. Some of the jeans goes up to an 26 and some other pieces go up to an 4X. The Riders by Lee Fall Collection is pretty impressive and I can’t wait to get a few more items to rock this year.

Fashion is an art that can be played with and made to fit you. You don’t have to go with the crowd. Wear that makes you happy and what flatters your body because when you look good you feel good. No matter your size, your clothes budget, or shopping preference Riders by Lee will be a good match.
