Mom duties are never done. Dinner is a huge deal in my home. My toddler and pre teen can’t go past 6pm without questioning me on dinner plans. Since my husband works evenings most nights I’m the chef and it can be overwhelming. I’ve learned a quick way to cheat some nights. Breakfast for dinner!
Thanks Krusteaz for having a variety of options for pancakes and waffles: Buttermilk Pancake Mix, Protein Buttermilk Pancake Mix, Belgian Waffle Mix. Their mix is so easy to whip up and tasty all you need to do is add water!
- Waffles or pancakes with loaded fruit and whipped cream is a win for everyone! The more you pile on the more filling this meal will be.
- Make it a meatless Monday. Breakfast sausage or bacon is good, but not always needed. Add a side bowl of grits or yogurt to spice things up.
- No meal prep needed! Running late for dinner? Breakfast is the answer! You have pancakes mix in the cabinet just pull it out and get to work.
When I make breakfast for dinner I save money, time, and headaches. The kids are full and ask for seconds and a nice platter of pancakes or waffles makes a wonderful instagram picture! Don’t let the dinner blues get you down, create a tasty breakfast menu and prepared to be impressed with the feedback.
Did you know February is National Hot Breakfast Month? Have you tried breakfast for dinner before? How was your family’s reaction?
Thanks Krusteaz for partnering with A Real Urban Mom. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I’m with Chance I am all about breakfast at ANY time of the day. These waffles look delish!
