Guys I’m super excited to say this… my family and I are test driving the 2015 Subaru Legacy! We will have the car for a whole week and we’ve already been putting that baby to use. We’ve ran errands, did last minute Christmas shopping, dropped off gifts and picked some up from family and friends. Whew!
The funny thing is the car just fits perfectly in our life. It’s not too big and it’s not too small. Our boys fit comfortably in the back and have some room to move around and Dennis has enough leg room when driving and being a passenger (he’s 6ft.) Since I’m short I love the fact the seats can be moved by a push of a button.
The gas mileage on this car has been amazing, we have been all over Chicago and we still have more than a half tank of gas! I’m impressed. I’ll keep you guys posted on what else the Subaru can do later this week!
Keep an eye out on us on social media because videos and pictures are being uploaded constantly! We are loving this car and super blessed to have it for a whole week!
Two days ago we said goodbye to my Father-in-Law. My husband lost his father and my children lost their grandfather. I was left speechless because I honestly thought he would recover from his sickness and things would be like normal or even better. Sadly that didn’t happen.
Death is going to happen, I understand that people are born and that people pass away, but when it hits home it’s a different story. The thought of a loved one no longer being around stings…memories of the past flash in your head and then you realize that you have to go on without this person. Pain.
A funeral is reminder to live. It’s a PSA to not take life for granted and to love those near to you like there is no tomorrow because sadly there might not be.
Hold your kids a little tighter tonight and make sure your family and friends know you love them.
Sheesh! November. 2015. Seems like I was just saying “Happy New Year!” Yet I’m preparing for a whole new year. This year has gone by really fast. It hasn’t been the best year, but I have had some awesome highlights. No matter how good of a year I’ve had I still have so much to be thankful for so November will be that month for me when I look back at all the things I should be thankful and grateful for.
Earlier today I was strolling on Instagram and I ran across a #30daysofthanks post on my friend Laila’s page (check out her blog). I was instantly reminded of my blessings and miracles and I want to encourage everyone else to meditate on the good.
After some research I found out a Blog called One Thing Alone kick started this challenge and I love it. I’m sharing it below and I encourage you to really look at the challenge. We have so much to be thankful for!!!
Thank you Jesus! We’ve made it to see another year! 2015 will be a wonderful year full of love, blessings, and favor! I’m speaking and believing it. Not only for me and my family but yours as well.
This year I want to do some new and fun things with the blog so be on the look out! Thanks for being a reader it means the world to me.
Welcome to 2015! Let’s make some strides towards happiness and success!
