Newborn babies bring so much joy to a family. It’s exciting to see their cute little hands, smell their fresh scent, and marvel at their tiny clothes. When having a newborn there are a few things every parent must have. I call them “Baby Essentials” and since I’m a mom to an 8 year old and newborn trust me I know a few things about “must haves”.
One thing I can not live without is Dreft detergent and the stain remover! Babies only eat, poop, and sleep for the first 6 weeks of their lives before they start to stay up long enough to entertain us with their quick learning and new achievements. While they are eating and pooping it normally turns into a mess and baby needs a million outfit changes like Beyonce at one of her concerts. Lots of outfit changes means lots of loads to wash. Since baby is so new and pure you don’t want to use tour harsh detergent on gentle clothes and skin that’s why Dreft is a staple in my house because I can trust my babies clothes will clean, smell great, and it’s a gentle on babies skin.
I love the stain remover spray for tough milk stains for when poop seems want to hit the onsie and not the pamper (which happens often). I just pretreat it before I do my loads so it can sit and start breaking down that stain. I don’t even have to worry about using an extra cup of Dreft detergent because the stain remover has already started it’s work.
I carry a travel size stain remover bottle in the diaper bag so if we have a incident while out I can just pretreat the item and not worry about it. That’s a good feeling and it makes me feel like I’m really prepared for anything. Lol.
Dreft has been a name I’ve known and trust for years. I used it with my first born 8 years ago and I’m currently using it now with the latest addition to our family. I think it’s the top item on my baby essential list!
Stay tuned to the blog because next week I will reveal what other baby items are a must.
*Disclaimer this is not a sponsored post, but I was giving some Dreft products to review for my 100% honest opinion.

Hey guys! I’m here with another book post!! It’s summer time and I hope everyone’s had some time to read a good book poolside recently. If not it’s okay there is still time. Check out this “What you won’t do for love” by Author Keleigh Crigler Hadley. Check out the summary below.
Eden Price, an unlucky-in-love nurse finds herself in the midst of a heated love triangle. Globe-trotting missionary, Gabe Clark ignites her soul. Who doesn’t want a man with a connection to God? Hard-working, Nemo Gates speaks to her heart. His past has caused a rift between him and God and Eden wants to help him heal.
She ultimately chooses the man that makes her passions come alive but did she make the right choice? Eden’s marriage is blissful and the newlyweds are happy, when her husband stuns her with a desperate plea; to prove her love for him in the most unthinkable way – to help him die with dignity. What would you do for the love of your life?
Keleigh Crigler Hadley is an author, speaker, and teacher who is thankful God can use her messes for His glory.
She has always loved stories, and she believes the story of the Bible contains the biggest, the most redemptive dose of grace humankind has ever, and will ever, experience. She is the Christian Fiction author of the Preacher’s Kids series, Revenge Inc., and coming Aug. 18th, What You Won’t Do for Love.
If she were to define herself in one sentence, she would say, “I’m a girl who loves to see God working.” Keleigh writes soul-stirring fiction, with real characters that stay with readers long after they have closed the book, (or turned the e-reader off.) The only thing she loves more than writing is reading, so contact her on social media and let her know what you’re reading!
